We are responsible for branding and the creative development of style guides for the Amazon master brand and collaborate with business partners around the world to support a wide range of devices, services, features, and retail categories. We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and passionate Motion Designer to join our Seattle, WA team. The Ideal candidate will be a well-versed Cinema 4D generalist, as well as have strong 2D animation capabilities, VFX and compositing artistic and technical abilities, and an overall strength for design and aesthetics.

As Part of the D1 team, you’ll work closely with a wide variety of Amazon businesses, including Global branding and design, global marketing and advertising, and device marketing to name a few. · Concept visuals to accompany written scripts
· Create visually stunning and compelling style frames
· Model, light, texture, and render objects and animations
· Composite 3D render passes
· Animate a variety of styles and techniques in 2D
· Rotoscope, paint, and cleanup for VFX on broadcast and online spots


· An online portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design skills, as well as 2D and 3D motion design capability
· 3-5 Years experience working in or with motion design studios, ad agencies, or post production houses.
· Strong ability to think both conceptually and technically on projects from conception to execution and delivery
· Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas, strategies, and pitch ideas, but also able and happily willing to accept feedback
· Strong ability to multitask and handle lots of moving variables and pieces across collaborative projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent attention to detail
· Advanced experience in Cinema 4D and Mograph
· Expert level experience in Adobe After Effects
· Basic experience in the rest of Adobe Production Suite (Premiere, Audition, etc.)
· Basic experience with Octane Render for Cinema 4D


· Bachelor’s degree in Design and animation or related field
· Familiarity with particle systems (Thinking Particles, X-Particles, etc.)
· Advanced understanding of Octane for Cinema 4D
· Well-versed with technical terms, technologies, and hardware related to 3D and 2D motion design and rendering
· Experience with device CG modeling, lighting, texturing, and rendering
