An entertainment client is looking for a freelance Video Editor that can lead the concepts of on-air footage and transform it into a meaningful story-line. You always feel the need to add that extra punch and give your two cents in meetings. You think of yourself as a visionary and find passion in all the work you produce.

Most Days You:
• Preparing inputting video cuts by assembling all raw video footage
• Inputting uncut sounds and storing them into files on the computer
• Determining the sequence of the film and determining what is usable to develop logical sequencing and smooth transitions
• Locating or recording needed sounds or songs for the film
• Cutting back film segments to specified lengths
• Must own editing equipment that is suitable to perform editing projects

The Ideal Match:
• Have up-to-date knowledge about the new methods, video equipment, and techniques used in the video editing field
• Have the ability to verbally communicate ideas to others involved in the project and the client
• You are able to visualize production scripts and transform clips so that they smoothly run effectively into the video

• Experience working in multi-camera shooting environment
• Effectively operate and maintain video editing systems and related equipment
• Can work with multiple types of specific effects to enhance the video

You Bring:

4+ years of editing experience in a professional creative setting

Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Avid a plus!
