Animator - Animate/HTML 5

Hi, we're Invisible Ink, a boutique animation shop that specializes in advertising. We're seeking a passionate freelance animator that's skilled in 2D character animation for banner ads similar to these examples. We're looking for someone with a high level of professionalism who will go the extra mile for quality, and consistently hit deadlines. We maintain a high bar, but pride ourselves on treating our freelancers well. We're in the SF Bay Area, but all work is done remotely. Animation Skills

Needs:

• Thorough experience with Adobe Animate and/or HTML 5
• A great sense of motion
• A mastery of easing

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with GSAP
• Experience with 3D applications (specifically C4D)
• Experience creating character animation and motion graphics

Development Skills

Needs:

• The ability to build for high resolution (retina)
• An understanding of how to optimize for file size, specifically for the following image file types: PNG/JPG/GIF/SVG
• The capacity to faithfully reproduce—and improve when needed—designs from PSD to final product

Design Skills

Needs:

• The ability to split up complex characters and scenes in Photoshop
• Basic retouching skills in Photoshop
• Simple color correction abilities
• An eye for design and character form

Nice to Haves:

• Production design; the ability to take a pre-existing design and flesh it out
• An understanding of color theory, typography, and layout
